Pre-K

At the preschool age, children are beginning to prepare for school. As professionals, the teachers at Kids R Kids begin to provide a more structured learning environment, so each child will have a strong foundation for their elementary years. Building Blocks is our Pre-Kindergarten Readiness Program used to accomplish this objective.

The learning process is linked with the child’s physical, emotional, social, and intellectual needs in mind. Our school recognizes this linkage by providing a balance of child-initiated and teacher-guided activities.

A strong preschool curriculum can have a positive effect on a child’s entire academic performance. In addition, we know that children learn by using all of their senses. Language & Listening, Science, Letter Recognition, and Reading & Writing are some centers your child will explore.

Mixed in with the informational portion of the curriculum are entertaining learning activities such as Fun in the Math Center with Sorting & Counting, Exploring Media, Dramatic Play, Music, Movement, Games, Tactile Stimulations with Sand & Water, Cooking, and Arts & Crafts.
